The dead are rising from their graves and walking through Brighton once more tomorrow.
Beach Of The Dead V has been shifted from Halloween weekend to avoid clashes with White Night next Saturday – although it will be a shame not to see zombies joining the late crowds in the city centre this year.
The brain-hungry freaks will now be gathering in Victoria Gardens before their slow, two-hour shamble down to Concorde 2 for the afterparty, which helps fund the event.
This year’s route sees the zombies move along North Road, down Queen’s Road to the King’s Road underpass, before parading along the seafront to Madeira Drive.
Among the attractions at Concorde 2 will be performances by Flying White Dots, Teen Creeps, Breakin Bear, MC Cashback and the Stay Sick DJs soundtracking the monster mash, plus burlesque from Fred Bare and Acacia Blue.
The parade was launched by organiser Katie G Amer in 2007 as a not-for-profit venture, and has seen the numbers of undead grow each year.
* Starts 3pm, free. See www.beachofthedead.com. After party tickets £3/£4. Call 01273 673311 for more details.
