TICKETS for the anticipated summer music festival at Shoreham Airport have completely sold out.

Organisers behind Wild Life, the two-day festival headlined by Rudimental and Disclosure on June 6 and 7, confirmed 35,000 tickets had been snapped up within a week of going on sale.

The event looks to be one of the biggest for music lovers in the south east this year and will welcome a host of artists including Sam Smith, Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Seth Troxler, Mark Ronson, Annie Mac, Julio Bashmore, Adam Beyer, Andy C, George Ezra and more.

Rob Ballantine, director of festival organisers SJM Concerts, told The Argus yesterday: “We’re thrilled to have sold out all the tickets, which hadn’t been on sale for even a week.

“It’s unbelievable.

“We didn’t take anything for granted, but as the line-up came together and we saw how many huge acts were confirming then we began to think it could sell out completely – and it has.

“We’re also really pleased with the number of people who have been clever enough and bought the bus tickets straight away, which will mean they’ll get off site incredibly easy.”

Tickets were being sold for £55 for one day or £99 for two days – but some have already started appearing on eBay for much higher.

One seller has a Sunday ticket for sale priced at more than £160.
