During the next four-and-a-half years, the singer/songwriter released six albums which were intended for internet release, but made their way on to the shop shelves.
Her 2003 release, Avalanche, was Radio 2's Album of the Week and spawned two hit singles, including her first Top 40 hit, Juliet. Since then she has shared stages with Joan Baez, Martha Wainwright and Beth Orton.
