Now in his late-50s, Steve Winwood has lived through an epic musical career spanning more than 40 years of rock action.
Best known for his stints in bands such as the Spencer Davis Group, Traffic and Blind Faith, and working with Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf, he has been flying solo since the release of his debut back in 1977.
It wasn't until 1988, at the peak of his success, that he achieved his first Number One album, Roll With It, which gained critical acclaim and was heralded as one of the best albums of the Eighties.
