Listening to Bedouin Soundclash's second album you'd be excused for thinking the trio met in Kingston, Jamaica, not Kingston, Canada. But that's where frontman Jay Malinowski, bassist Eon Sinclair and drummer Pat Pengelly met and formed the band in 2001.

Malinowski came to the music through a love of Eighties 2-tone bands, while Sinclair, whose parents were from Guyana, brought a feel for hip-hop and dancehall toasters.

Best known for the single, When the Night Feels my Song (the one on the T-Mobile advert), the group mixes reggae, ska, dub and rock.
