Probably the biggest name to play at this year's festival, there are two chances to catch the Magic Numbers this weekend.

Tonight the four-piece, made up of two sets of brothers and sisters, Romeo and Michele Stodart and Angela and Sean Gannon, are playing in the relative intimacy of the Honey Club, before tomorrow's bigger show at the Brighton Centre.

The band will be playing music from their Mercury Music Prizenominated debut and the followup album which was released late last year just 17 months later.

"We did think about having a break," says Romeo. "But we had a bunch of new songs and were just so excited to get back into the studio."

Those The Brokes showcases more of Romeo's songwriting skills, not least on the opening trio of This Is A Song, You Never Had It and Take A Chance, but also allows his little sister to try her hand at a tune with Take Me Or Leave Me.

You can't expect the band to suddenly take a break now, though.

Romeo says the band is planning to spend the rest of the year touring and possibly recording a mini acoustic album by the end of 2007.
