David Gray broke through with his six million-selling self-financed album White Ladder in 2000. But this Greatest Hits tour is set to show there is much more to David than just the Ivor Novello-scooping mega-hit Babylon and its parent album, which is the biggest selling album of all time in Ireland.
The singer-songwriter has a total of seven albums to his name, including three released to little fanfare before White Ladder, and three number ones.
His best of album features 14 songs covering his 14 years in the business, including newbies You're The World To Me and Destroyer, but is doubtless heavily weighted towards the Manchester-born former art student's later career.
