Anyone who can't make it to Michael Eavis' muddy fields can get a taster of what is to come tonight as the Left Field stage takes over Brighton.

A fortnight before the hordes descend on Worthy Farm, the Left Field organisers are holding an 18-hour warm-up party, starting today at noon.

The warm-up party, which is raising money for Rock Against Racism, is kicking off at The Brighton Coalition with a sceening of the film Who Shot The Sheriff?, live music from The Jamestown Union and Rodney Branigan, and a samba session with Carnival Collective.

The party moves to Komedia at 6.30pm with a live music line-up including Brixton's The Thirst, former Million dead frontman Frank Turner, The Krak and Brighton's own The Perils, with legendary agitator Attila The Stockbroker hosting the night.

Anyone with any energy left at 11pm then has the choice of either the official aftershow party at The Joogleberry Playhouse or another seven hours of partying at The Brighton Coalition.

On the bill at the Coalition will be Elle Milano, Rob The Rich, Night Of Treason and Brighton's very own Maths Class, with the Blah Blah Blah DJs spinning tunes into the night.

Meanwhile Joogleberry is hosting Emily Baker, Bitter Ruin and Bobby McGees.
