Cara Dillon's crystalline vocals, reminiscent of Eva Cassidy, have been winning her acclaim ever since she won the All Ireland Singing Trophy in her early teens.
A shower of accolades followed her eponymous debut album (BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, Big Buzz, Hot Press Awards) which swiftly placed Dillon firmly amongst the leading lights of the new generation of young traditional artists successfully merging with the mainstream.
Cara's accompanist Sam Lakeman will be a part of the line-up, along with John Smith whose percussive guitar work and earthy storytelling have gained a loyal and ever-increasing fan base around the UK. In addition, Lori Watson, an exciting young fiddle player, singer and recognised "tradition bearer" of Scottish Borders music, will be joining the tour.
- Starts 8pm, tickets £12. Call 01273 674100.
