A modern music-lover's ultimate nightmare - losing all their tunes - is the jumping-off point for Dan Clark's new one-man show.

The Day iLost My iPod is the story of one day which became an epiphany of sorts for the stand-up comic.

The show, which debuted at last year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival following on from critical hit shows 57 Minutes and Erotic Neurotic, not only investigates Clark's terrible loss but also his addiction to modern gadgets and technology.

His obsession with his missing personal stereo (as they used to be called back in the Eighties) makes him wonder about what would happen if you could switch your brain into shuffle mode and what the future of pop music really is.

At the same time he works in a selection of his own neuroses - including his fear of men's public changing rooms - and a few heartfelt love songs.

Comedy fans might remember Clark from the Channel Four show The Estate Agents, which he co-wrote with his comedy team The Electric Eel.

He also portrayed Johnny Two Hats, the leader of Vince Noir's electro band, in the cult BBC comedy The Mighty Boosh.
