Bill Bailey
Brighton Centre, King’s Road, Thursday, December 3, doors 7pm, £25, 08448 471515
THE BEARDED wizard of whimsy brings his new Limboland show to the Brighton Centre.
Combining his skills on the keyboard and guitar with a distinctly left-of-centre take on the world at large, Bailey is one of the few comics on the circuit who has made the shift from theatres to arenas with ease.
He may have lost some of the intimacy of his early performances – but he more than makes up for it with imaginative stage settings and his incorporation of stadium rock tropes into the show.
Anyone who only knows him through his appearances on QI and Eight Out Of Ten Cats Does Countdown is in for a treat.
