Charles Dickens’ tale of one man’s search for redemption is re-imagined by Chichester Youth Theatre in this specially-written version by award- winning playwright Bryony Lavery.
Ebenezer Scrooge is a miser who lives for money, and doesn’t care how it is obtained or how it affects his character. People are worthless to him, family a nuisance and employees ungrateful.
But when, one Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by three spirits sent to redeem his soul by offering him a vision of what was, what is and what shall be, he is forced to look at things in a very different light.
