Brand new comedians brave their first night as rabbits in the headlights of the stand-up comedy car.
There's strictly no heckling at this monthly night which showcases amateur comedians, as well as those with more experience trying new material. "They all go down pretty well," says co-founder Katy Schutte. "The audience is really supportive.
Nobody really fails, but they can get self-conscious."
Some of the acts have even gone on to perform in London and Katy herself has appeared at the Komedia's Joker Basement. But others, once they have ticked "be a stand-up comic" off the list, are quite happy never to do it again. There will be about eights acts tomorrow and Steve Saul is compere.
