FROM the i360 to the backstreets of Woodingdean, Brighton features heavily in the music video for ArrDee’s hit single Oliver Twist.

Reaching number six in the UK official single’s chart, the Brighton-born rapper continued the tradition of showcasing his hometown in his newest release.

ArrDee, real name Riley Davies, shot onto the music scene after the release of the chart topping remix Body alongside Tion Wayne and Russ Millions.

The hit song became an overnight sensation after his verse gained popularity on TikTok.

Fast-forward three months and the 18-year-old has continued his success with the release of Oliver Twist, accompanied by a music video with a selection of recognisable landmarks around Brighton.

In the video, ArrDee can be seen in the i360 with a group of friends, as well as sitting on a sofa in Regency Square.

The rapper also can be seen cruising down Bexhill Road in Woodingdean in a pack of scooters, bikes and running locals.

In a behind the scenes documentary about the making of the music video, ArrDee highlights Woodingdean as the area in which he grew up.

In an interview on Capital Xtra, the performer said he didn’t sleep for 72 hours during the filming of the music video.

“We started on the Friday, and I didn’t sleep until Sunday night,” he said.

When asked how he powered through, he said: “It’s Brighton innit. Everyone in Brighton can party mad.”

Later in the video, ArrDee performs the song in front of the West Pier and a local tattoo shop.

In his earlier release 6am in Brighton, the rapper shares his love for his hometown in a number of lyrics.

He describes himself as a "seaside boy" and says "f****** love my city".

The Brighton musician has released songs across a range of styles and genres including rap, drill, grime, afrobeats and more.
