The three-metre limbs have been erected at the Komedia in Gardner Street, Brighton, to signal the presence of two new Duke of York’s Picturehouse screens inside.
They match the legs on the original Duke of York’s in Preston Circus, pictured above right.
Public screenings begin on December 7.
Jamie McCartney, who created the legs, said: “Given that the Duke's legs are an iconic feature of the Brighton skyline I was thrilled to be asked to produce these for the new cinema right in the centre of town.
“They are going to be seen by thousands of people every day so I had to get them right.”
