The owner of the Lansdowne Place Hotel has called in administrator KPMG.
Earlier this month David Glover, director of Lansdowne Investments Limited - formerly Max Hotels (Dudley) Limited - said the 150-year-old venue will be converted into serviced apartments.
Jane Moriarty and Colin Haig were appointed Joint Administrators of Lansdowne Investments Limited on January 11.
The hotel has been closed by management prior to the appointment and is no longer trading.
A number of disappointed customers have contacted The Argus to say they have been left in the lurch over bookings at the hotel.
Have you or has someone you know booked an upcoming event at the Lansdowne Place?
