I would like to voice my concern and disbelief about the 40 carp which died in the rock garden pond opposite Preston Park (The Argus, February 11).
Most of those fish had been in there for years. Surely the welfare of these fish comes first. Quite clearly in this case it hasn’t.
The council should be held responsible and prosecuted in my opinion. I thought we were being run by a Green party. Does that not mean looking after the environment and what lives in it?
