A man has been charged with the murder of his wife.
Ty Medland, of Cavell Avenue, Peacehaven, was last night (Tuesday) charged with the murder of Samantha Medland, known as Sam.
The 25-year-old is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court this morning (Wednesday).
Sam was found with serious stab wounds at about 8.45pm on Sunday, February 17.
She was taken to hospital but sadly died a short time later.
A post mortem examination revealed the 24-year-old died as a result of multiple stab wounds.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Preston of Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team said: "I would like to thank the members of public who have assisted us in our investigation so far.
"Our thoughts are with the family of Sam as they try to come to terms with her death."
Anyone with information regarding this incident who has not yet spoken to police is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Westfield.
