Sheep are to be scanned to see if they are pregnant.

To help maintain the downland of Telscombe Tye, Telscombe Town Council has 100 ewes.

They join the existing flock of 252 sheep which graze there under historic commoner’s rights.

On Saturday, February 23 at 10am, members of the public are invited to the Tye, near Gorham Way in Telscombe Cliffs, to watch the scanning of the animals to see if they are “with lamb”.
