A teenager has been given an Asbo banning her from swearing in public.
Sussex Police pursued the order on Courtney Birmingham, 18, claiming she had caused “significant problems” in Eastbourne town centre due to her threatening and abusive behaviour.
The Antisocial Behaviour Order (Asbo), which will be in force for three years, bans Miss Birmingham, who lives in the town from using foul or abusive language in any public place.
It also states she should not enter anywhere she has been banned from.
Specific places include Eastbourne railway station, its car park, a section of Terminus Road, and the grounds of Cavendish School in Eldon Road.
Miss Birmingham is also not allowed any contact with two unnamed Eastbourne women.
