Scores of jobs are set to be lost after a military defence firm announced a national cull.
General Dynamics, which has offices in Hastings, is to shed 185 jobs nationwide.
The cuts will see around 50 staff who work at its Castleham Industrial Site lose their jobs.
The company is a leading defence contractor and works with government, military and civil forces around the world.
Some workers in St Leonards have recently been seconded to the company’s plant in Newport, South Wales.
