I am delighted that Brighton and Hove City Council has received three bids from organisations wishing to run Saltdean Lido.
It is to everyone’s benefit that the council has a positive choice to make.
I trust the decision will be based on the quality of the bids submitted rather than the hullabaloo generated about its future. We don’t want to find ourselves years from now with a lido site surrounded by flats.
