A 41-year-old accused of murdering a young father in a suspected hit and run will appear at Lewes Crown Court on Monday.
Walter Brazil, of Collyer Avenue, Bognor, appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with murdering Charlie Hancock, 20, of Nyetimber Lane, Pagham, on May 13.
Charlie was struck with a car in Rowan Way, Bognor, at 10pm and died later in hospital.
Brazil spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth and was remanded in custody to appear at the crown court.
