An elderly man has died after a mobility scooter accident.
The 82-year-old man suffered serious injuries after falling down steps while riding a mobility scooter near Gildredge Park gate in Moatcroft Road, Eastbourne, last Thursday at 4.30pm .
The man died almost a week later from his injuries at Eastbourne District General Hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses including a woman in a silver car with a child who called for help at the scene.
