An actress who turned down a marriage proposal from Elvis Presley has celebrated her 30th wedding anniversary this week.
Barbara Whatley, who has appeared on the stage and screen, renewed her vows to former Sussex cricketer Rupert Webb in a ceremony at St Margaret’s in Rottingdean.
The pair met some 15 years after the actress’s youthful fling with Elvis in Malibu.
He later went on to propose but was turned down by the now 65-year-old.
Mr Webb, 91, is recognised as one of the county’s great wicketkeepers.
However, the cricketer also tried his hand at acting and appeared in hit-film Four Weddings and a Funeral as the father of DuckFace played by Anna Chancellor.
The couple now live together in Rottingdean.
