Rock legends are starring in a new film shot at a local aquarium.

Status Quo frontmen Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt visited Hastings Blue Reef Aquarium last year to film underwater shots for their Bula Quo film.

The comedy flick features 12 of the band’s most popular songs and marks the release of their 100th single, Bula Bula Quo.

Chris Ireland, of the Blue Reef Aquarium, said: “It was amazing to have two music legends on site here at the aquarium and it certainly caused quite a stir among staff and visitors.

“They were on site to film some close-up underwater shots of the band for the newfilm and were working with local diver and underwater cameraman Patrick Shier, who is a regular visitor to the aquarium.”

Bula Quo is released next month.
