A man wanted on suspicion of the murder of a young father-of-two was set to be extradited to the UK on Friday night, after being arrested by Italian Police.

Edmund Nela was arrested on Friday in Italy’s fashion capital, Milan.

It is just short of a month since “hardworking”scaffolder Mr Krasniqi, known as Jim, was with his brother and his nephew when he was fatally shot in the abdomen, in Church Street, Hove.

Mr Krasniqi, who had a four-year-old daughter and a seven-year-old son, was attacked at 11.30pm on May 19.

He died just a few hours later in the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

As they tried to trace his killer, police issued a public appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of brothers Edmund Nela, 31, and Arthur Nela, 34, who they wanted to talk to in connection with the murder.

Arthur Nela returned to the UK via Gatwick from Italy last month. He and a 32-year-old local woman, whose name is unknown, have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and bailed until a later date.
