Pre-school children are playing with new toys thanks to a donation from The Argus Appeal.
Pupils at Meadowview Pre School, which is based at the community centre in Bevendean, Brighton, were thrilled to discover their new equipment after a host of toys were donated by the charity.
However, it wasn’t just the children who were overjoyed by the new arrivals but teachers too.
Nicki Jackson, a member of staff at Meadowview put her feet up as she hitched a ride with one of her pupils, Meghan Faint, on a new bike at the school.
The Argus Appeal’s objective is to give assistance to those in need throughout our community by providing funds for a variety of benefits and causes.
In particular disadvantaged children, the elderly, the vulnerable, people with disabilities and any other person, group or charity considered by the trustees to be appropriate for a fund allocation which will make a difference.
