A motorbike rider and passenger were taken to hospital after they were thrown off their bike having collided with a car.
The 20-year-old passenger suffered a fractured femur and the 19-year-old rider was taken to hospital with pelvis injuries after a blue Ford Fiesta crashed into the Kawasaki motorbike on Saturday morning in Littlehampton.
Police and emergency services were called to Terminus Road near Howard Road in Littlehampton at about 8.45am to find the motorbike rider and his passenger lying in the road.
Both were taken by ambulance to hospital.The Ford Fiesta driver, a 24-year-old woman from Surrey, was uninjured.
PC Robin Elshof from the Road Policing Unit said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle prior to the incident and has not yet spoken to officers.”
