Supermarket shoppers are being encouraged to help those in need.
Poverty charity Fareshare is joing forces with Tesco and the Trussell Trust to collect food for people in need on Friday and Saturday.
Shoppers are being asked to donate an item of food from a shopping list in Tesco stores in Hove, Lewes and Portslade.
The chain will top-up food donations by 30% in the second food collection event run by the three partners.
