A sozzled footballer was filmed showing off his signature dance move in front of hundreds of drunken revellers.
Former England star Peter Crouch was captured on camera by a holidaymaker from Brighton doing his famous ‘robot’ dance after downing a bottle of champagne.
Crouch’s famous dance was first unveiled in the run-up to England’s World Cup campaign in 2006, but he vowed never to perform it again unless he scored a “really important goal”.
But Alex Flexer, 27, who took the video at Ushuaia Beach Hotel in Ibiza last Wednesday, said the 6ft 7in Stoke player went back on his pledge after getting “completely hammered”.
He said: “Crouchy wasn’t exactly hard to spot and he was really smashed, jumping around on a table. People started chanting his name and egging him on to do the robot, so he did. It wasn’t something you see every day.”
A spokesman for the footballer admitted he had “certainly had a good time”.
