Pupils at Patcham High School met snakes, bugs, reptiles and creepy crawlies this week.
On Tuesday two members of staff presented a collection of reptiles and creepy-crawlies to a selection of KS3 students.
The students spent half an hour learning about the animals and petting them – if they weren’t too hissterical, that is.
The snakes include a boa constrictor, a Russian rat snake, a ball python and a Kenyan sand boa.
Also on show was a bearded dragon, a leopard gecko, a tarantula and hissing cockroaches.
