Famous faces have been showing their support for a children’s hospice.
Actress Dame Judi Dench is the latest star to record a 10th birthday message for the Chestnut Tree House near Arundel.
Other names include Peter Andre and Paralympian Ellie Simmonds.
The hospice provides specialist palliative care services to children and young people with life-limiting and lifethreatening illnesses across Sussex.
It runs inpatient and community care in children’s homes along with bereavement support and counselling.
The hospice, which opened in 2003, costs £3 million a year to run and only receives 8% of its funding from the Government.
It relies on the support of the community to keep going.
Dame Judi’s brief message wishes the hospice a happy birthday and praises its vital work.
Hospice director of children’s services, Linda Perry, said: “We were so excited to receive this birthday message from Dame Judi Dench.
“Throughout this year we have been using social media to appeal to celebrities to support us in our 10th birthday year, and have had some fantastic responses. Thank you to all who have supported us.”
