Some areas of Sussex are currently without water.
Customers in the areas of Hurstpierpoint, Hassocks, Pyecombe, Poynings, Fulking and Saddlescombe and surrounding areas are experiencing low pressure or no water supplies.
South East Water said: "We currently have technicians looking into the issue. We will update the website as soon as more information becomes available and apologise for any inconvenience to our customers."
Customers in the Berwick, and Polegate area are also experiencing low water pressure and in some cases have no access to water due to another burst water main.
Simon Robertson, head of distribution, said: “We are currently investigating some water supply issues in the Berwick and Polgate area. We are aware of two separate bursts on nine inch water mains in the area which we have been working hard this morning to fix.
“We were able to isolate one of the bursts at approximately 4am in order to start emergency repairs and we are now working hard on the other burst nearby.
“At this stage it is too early to say how long the repair work will take but it is always our priority to restore supplies for our customers as quickly as possible with as little disruption as possible."
A spokesperson at South East Water said: "It is always difficult to know the exact cause of water pipes bursting, however it would be fair to say that the hot weather has been putting additional pressure on our network of underground pipes.
"This, combined with ground movement, again linked to the high temperatures, may have contributed to the burst."
Around 100 customers have already called reporting no water.
