An explosion rocked a home in Littlehampton last night.
Firefighters were called to Fitzalan Road at 12.50am to reports of an explosion.
Crews remained at the scene this morning, a West Sussex Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said.
She said four breathing apparatus, two hose reels, thermal imaging cameras and jets were used in the incident.
Occupiers of nearby flats were initially evacuated but have since been allowed back in.
