A cyclist suffered serious injuries after being struck by a seven-tonne horse box.
The 55-year-old, of Poynings, near Brighton, suffered serious back and shoulder injuries after he was in collision with the horse-box on the A281 Henfield Road, near Park Wood Scout Camp, on Saturday just after 5pm.
The cyclist, who was riding a maroon racing cycle, and the horse-box were both travelling south when the collision occurred.
He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment. The driver of the horse-box, a 51-year-old woman, was unhurt.
Witnesses should call Sussex Police on 101.
