On the Tuesday before Christmas, I was shopping at Asda in Brighton Marina and children from Saltdean Junior School were packing customers' shopping to raise money for a school trip they hope to make in spring 2007.
I was impressed by how polite, well-mannered and well behaved they all were. Congratulations Saltdean Junior School. I hope they achieve their target.
How nice to think these nine-yearolds will be tomorrow's adults.
Let's hope they remain such delightful people.
