Marion Bird (nee Patching) emails: "It is at this time of year I particularly remember an old schoolfriend and wondered if I could try and contact her again, or at least learn of her whereabouts, through your newspaper.
"Her name is Pat Durrell, nee Evans, and we were good pals at school and afterwards, until I had to move away to Norwich, where I still live.
"I was a bridesmaid at her wedding in December 1959 and I was still in touch with her when she had her family of two girls and a boy - but we eventually lost contact and the last I heard of her she was living in the Southwick area.
"Pat is probably a grandmother, as I am, and we would have a lot of news to catch up on. If anyone can help me get in touch, I would be most grateful."
