Nowadays we often read the term “non-judgmental” in both the national and local press. Surely, therefore, the answer to all of this country’s financial problems would be to elect the world’s first non-judgmental government.
We could then have judges who, being non-judgmental, would be unable to find anyone guilty and therefore no one would end up behind bars. This would save over five billion pounds a year on the cost of running prisons.
Absolutely massive savings would also be found in the field of health, as GPs would no longer be able to make judgments on the state of their patients’ health. They would just offer advice, such as suggesting their clients go home, keep warm and hope for the best.
These two measures, and many others of a similar nature, would of course result in large numbers of people, such as prison and hospital staff, losing their jobs but, living in a non-judgmental country, they would soon be re-employed.
They would simply attend employment interview panels which, being non-judgmental, would be unable to find any of them unsuitable and would thus have to give them all new jobs.
The United Kingdom would become the only country in the world with zero unemployment and no longer have to pay out three billion pounds a year in unemployment benefits.
I trust that when this letter arrives at the offices of The Argus it will be dealt with in a non-judgmental manner.
