I see Brighton and Hove City Council needs to spend £100 million to support the beautiful seafront arches (The Argus, January 6) and wonders where to get the money from.
I have a suggestion: use the money planned for mucking around with the Pavilion Gardens. There is nothing wrong with the Pavilion Gardens and no need to fence them in or change them about.
And certainly no need or public demand to drive the lovely Pavilion cafe out of business.
Use the money more wisely and protect our world famous seafront.
Leave the Pavilion Gardens just as they are as we, the paying public, like them.
