It was great to see the double page feature on Peacehaven’s 3-0 victory over Leatherhead (The Score, January 6).
We have a team presently sitting eight points clear at the top of the Ryman South league.
One valid point highlighted was that sadly the team is not well supported on the terraces.
This is a shame as there is a friendly club house where supporters of both teams enjoy a good atmosphere, a nice cold pint and some of the best chips I’ve tasted in 35 years of going to the match.
Oh, and the football’s not bad either.
So come on people of Peacehaven, get yourselves down to Piddinghoe Avenue. We have a club to be proud of.
