A 14-year-old boy was robbed by another teen.
The youngster was walking to the shops on Montifiore Road, Hove, at around 5pm on Janaury 6 when he was approached by another teenager who asked him for some tobacco.
When the victim said he didn't have any the suspect punched him and took his phone and ran off in the direction on BHASVIC.
Detective Sergeant Maureen Lambert said: "Thankfully the victim was not hurt but obviously shaken by the incident.
“The suspect is described as white, around 15, spotty with curly black hair.
“He was wearing a black coat and black trousers and gloves.
"The phone which was taken was a Nokia Lumi and was in a red case.”
