It seems that Simon Kirby's crystal ball is a bit faulty if it's telling him he's going to be the next MP for Kemptown (Letters, December 11).
And in answer to the question he wants to put to Gordon Brown on "where all our money has gone": a lot of it has been spent on repairing the damage his party caused during the years of Tory cuts, sell-offs and wasted North Sea oil revenue.
