East Street is now often used as Brighton city centre's taxi hub but back in the sixties it looked much more open.
Nowadays the area is populated by the familiar white and teal taxis but back five decades ago it was home to a cavalcade of vintage autos.
The no waiting sign that was up back then is most certainly long gone.
