Amanda Whitfield emails: "Could I ask through your newspaper if anyone can help me find my father's missing family?
"He was estranged from them in his teens and I have only just managed to find out their names. They lived in Brighton from the Twenties onwards, and were quite a theatrical family, possibly singers and performers I believe.
"His parents, born in the late 1800s, were William Clary and Kate Constance Verdi.
"Their children were Santa Lorenza Verdi b.1886, Moreau Robert Verdi b.1898, Marie Verdi, Frank Alexander Verdi, b.1902, Vera Constance Verdi b.1907 and Jean Jessie McLellan Verdi b.1909.
"Frank was my father. His siblings may have married and have descendents who are not aware of my existence.
"I would be so grateful to receive any information from any of your readers, even if it seems trivial."
