The letters from some fans who attended the Fat Boy Slim concert (The Argus, January 10) confirmed my suspicions that many people now need a full-time nanny.
They go to a concert in the heart of winter, not wearing any warm or waterproof clothing, and then complain bitterly that they got soaked and were frozen.
But you can see this any day when it rains hard. Just go into any town centre and you will find men in T-shirts and young women in mini skirts and thin tops, all walking around getting soaked.
My daughter tells me it just isn't "cool" to be seen wearing an anorak or carrying an umbrella.
I have told her she won't look so cool if she is in hospital with pneumonia or hypothermia.
Having a bare midriff in wet and icy weather is even more stupid.
