I was delighted to see your excellent feature on That Little Tea Shop In The Lanes. I visited it with my daughter a couple of weeks ago.
We found it so friendly but I just wanted to stress what a good variety of food they could offer and there was old-fashioned service combined with efficiency. It was outstanding and the prices were brilliant.
My daughter and I look for entirely different things in a menu and often find it difficult to find somewhere that can supply ideal food for both us.
We found it in the tea shop. At first we were a little put off by the table tops which do rock a little due to their age but somehow it all adds to the quaint charm of the place and they are not unstable.
I am glad that Georgina Townshend noticed the great variety of ages enjoying the experience. I would certainly go straight back there on our next visit to Brighton.
