FAST food giant McDonald’s has revealed it contributes £7 million to the Sussex economy.
An independent report commissioned by McDonald’s found business and suppliers helped make the combined annual contribution. McDonald’s opened its first Brighton restaurant in May 1982, with four restaurants now employing more than 380 people. Brighton franchisee Ismet Turen owns and operates six restaurants across Brighton, Newhaven and Burgess Hill, contributing £6 million to the economy and employing more than 450 people.
