A prostitute has been found dead three months after her sister killed herself.

Their father had drowned himself in the Thames a year earlier.

Annalise O'Donnel, 21, was found hanging in a flat in Town Mead, West Green, Crawley, by a friend.

Sussex Police have launched an investigation to try to determine what happened inside the call girl's home.

Officers were called to the flat where they discovered Miss O'Donnel's body last Thursday. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem exam-ination showed the cause of death was hanging.

Less than three months ago her sister Izzy, 17, hanged herself.

Their father Peter drowned himself in the Thames in 2005 on Izzy's 16th birthday after running into business difficulties and becoming depressed.

Miss O'Donnel, from Sutton, Surrey, had moved to Crawley where she was working as a prostitute. She told her mother she had become an exotic dancer.

Her mother was shocked but continued to support her after discovering her secret. She had to be treated in hospital forshock after she was told of her daughter's death.

Miss O'Donnel's cousin Jeff Warren said: "Annalise was happy, compassionate, beautiful, into dancing and always going down the gym. It is unbelievable.

"I spent New Year's Eve with her. The family came round my house. There was just no hint.

"Everyone was a bit depressed because her sister had just died but I thought she was getting over it."

Annalise grew up in Sutton and became involved in Sunday school and church groups at the Lutheran church nearby.

She enjoyed skiing and spent two months a year at her parents' chalet in Austria.

The family was devastated when Peter killed himself and Izzy, the youngest of four sisters, was found hanging in her flat in Sutton just over a year later.

A relative said: "It had a massive impact on Annalise. They were the closer two sisters."

Annalise will be buried next to her sister on January 31. She leaves two other sisters aged 18 and 22 and a brother aged seven.

A joint inquest into the girls' deaths will be held in Sutton but no date has yet been set.
