BARGAIN hunters have helped raise almost £1 million for charity.
British Heart Foundation said its charity shops in Sussex have raised £965,000 in the past year to help fund research into heart disease.
The charity thanked residents who donated items, purchased goods or gave their time.
The funds have bought 520 defibrillators and employed six local healthcare professionals.
